BVMS Software Applications
BVMS is available in a number of formats including free of charge applications.
BVMS Viewer allows access to live and recorded data from Bosch video devices. It includes 16 camera channels FREE of CHARGE and can be expanded to up to 500 cameras. It is very quick and easy to install and use, features a powerful forensic search engine and can monitor up to 10,000 sites with access to HD footage even with small bandwidth.
BVMS Lite is a fully functional demo version. It includes 8 camera channels FREE of CHARGE and can be expanded to up to 42 cameras.
BVMS Plus addresses mid-sized applications such as offices or warehouses, allowing you to manage up to 256 cameras at a very competitive price.
BVMS Professional is the suitable solution for larger applications such as airports or commercial buildings with a maximum number of 2,000 camera channels.
BVMS with DIVAR IP Systems combines the full-featured software bundled-in with ready-to-use video recording and management appliances. Available as an all-in-one VMS and Recording package with DIVAR IP 5000 and DIVAR IP 7000 products.
BVMS Enterprise functionality is supported by BVMS Plus and Professional for large multisite applications. This allows connection of multiple BVMS systems (Lite, Plus, Professional) and / or DIVAR IP all-in-one units and managing up to 200,000 cameras in total.
Bosch Video Analytics
BVMS taps into metadata recorded on the edge within the analytics processors built-in all Bosch cameras. Bosch video analytics provide accurate and reliable results and are extremely cost effective, being supplied within the cost of the camera.
Video Analytics substantially improve levels of security, as well as making it possible to make smarter business decisions, reduce costs and increase efficiency with a return on investment that can be measured through tangible business results. Video analytics act as the 'brains' of a security system, using metadata to add sense and structure to captured video footage.
Two levels of Video Analytics are available: Essential Video Analytics supplied with
IP 3000, 4000, 5000 and 6000 series, and Intelligent Video Analytics supplied with 7000, 8000 and 9000 series cameras.
Essential Video Analytics
Essential Video Analytics reliably detect, track, and analyse moving objects while suppressing unwanted alarms from sources in the image. Tasks like multiple line crossing, loitering and people counting are available. Object filter based on size, speed, direction, aspect ratio, and color can be defined. For calibrated cameras, the software automatically distinguishes between a person, car, bike, and truck.

Intelligent Video Analytics
Intelligent Video Analytics is the system of choice when you need mission-critical, long-distance intrusion detection in extreme weather conditions, traffic monitoring at intersections, highways or tunnel, high-performance people counting or other high-performance video analytics. Bosch IVA includes state-of-the-art artificial intelligence (AI) based detectors that reliably detects, tracks, and analyses moving objects while suppressing unwanted alarms from spurious sources in the image. Advanced tasks like multiple line crossing, route following, loitering, idle and removed object detection, counter flow detection, crowd density estimation and people counting are available. Object filter based on size, speed, direction, aspect ratio and colour can be defined for object detection and classification in crowded scenes.

Beyond Pre-set Analytics with Camera Trainer
Camera Trainer, a machine learning technology, enables system integrators to tailor the cameras’ built-in Intelligent Video Analytics to detect the things that matter most to their customers. The camera retains information on new user-defined objects and situations or any subsequent changes. It then refers to these new learnings when processing scenes and can be combined with pre-determined Intelligent Video Analytics alarm rules and object filters for even more accuracy and flexibility. A simple example is teaching the camera to differentiate an empty car par spot from an occupied one and automatically counting car park occupancy rates.
